A great way to simply use out cooking pellets is when cooking burgers. Instead of just a charcoal taste, adding our chips will greatly enhance the flavor of cooking out burgers. Hickory wood is a good choice for hickory flavored burgers to bring a little zest to your meal. When using your chips, it's good to soak them in water for 5 minutes to help them smoke more while in the grill or smoker. The flavor of the fruit wood or nut wood is thru the smoking of the pellets and let the aroma be part of the cooking. When using charcoal make sure it is our imported charcoal because it doesn't have the additives and chemicals like the commercial brands have.
