You are welcome Tyler,

We really like to do something different for our winter firewood for sale that we have. You are right, Oak is too typical and the Texas mesquite is a nice change for our customers in the Oklahoma City area looking for firewood for sale. See you next winter!

Upchurch Cooking Firewood,

We definitely loved the mesquite firewood for sale. It was much better than Oak firewood cause Oak firewood is just so typical and bland. Oak does not have a good smell since some of the smoke ended up getting in the house. Thanks for this awesome options for your firewood for sale this last winter

Last winter we imported a lot of Mesquite wood from Texas and our customers really enjoyed it. If it isn’t seasoned too much (over 1 year is way too much seasoning time) it really produces a very hot winter fireplace firewood fire. The customers also really liked the smell it produced outside their home cause it smells similar to the outside of a BBQ restaurant. If you are going to use it in your BBQ smoker I would urge you to be cautious for the longer smoking times. You really need to know how to use it well and that often begins with letting the wood burn way down in your firebox before you pile on your smoking meat. As a smoking wood, Mesquite is really good for what doesn’t stay on the grill very long. It’s great for burgers and fajita meat for an example. If you live in Texas then mesquite wood is the go to wood. So after we spent the winter using a lot of mesquite wood in our customers fireplaces, we were happy with its performance.
