Apple pellets for sale

I've been experimenting with some apple wood pellets and they have done wonderful!  Smoking a pork butt was my meat of choice and I got my firebox started up.  I used a base of pecan smoking wood and then after it died down a little, I put on the apple wood pellets. I only needed a 1/2 cup of pellets and then I wrapped them in aluminum foil. I poked some holes in the aluminum foil so the sweet smelling wood smoke could escape.  The apple pellets I used are available in our store and they are 100% apple fruit wood. The pellets are made from compressed fruit sawdust and compressed apple wood chips.

I took my pork butt out of the BBQ smoker and sliced into it. The meat was a nice pink in the center and it was a very moist piece of meat.

This is a wood recipe I will use over and over again, it was excellent!

Smoking wood pellets are really great and they are unique. They take the smoking wood down to wood chips and preferably saw dust and then they compress them at high force. This makes them able to burn a long time in your BBQ smoker. You always need to soak them in water first. Usually when you have regular split firewood you do not need to soak the split firewood in water. Smoking wood pellets are different. Soak your smoking wood pellets in water for 30 minutes and you should be in great shape to smoking and cooking some great food.
